The Meduza gallery in Koper prepares approximately 7 exhibitions annual, mostly of Slovene established and young promising artists. They co-operate with foreign and regional institutions like in 2009 with the Università Popolare di Trieste, the PUF festival, local puppet theatre studio Lutkarnica, P.A.R.A.S.I.T.E. Institute that featured its collection of artist books and on the opening of the exhibition presented also the collection entitled 12 Boring Poems of Dejan Habicht.
In March 2010 gave the Gallery the podium also to the international project So Fresh, which is since 2008 focused on the video of young artists from the northern regions of Italy (Friuli-Julian March and Veneto), Austria, Croatia and Slovenia. The project functions on the basis of the public call for entries (usually on the beginning of the year). In 2009 the works were selected by Andrea Bruciati, the director of Občinske galerije za sodobno umetnost Tržič/ Galleria Comunale d'Arte Contemporanea di Monfalcone. 10 selected artists (the only representative from Slovenia was the video of Ana Čigon, the winner of 2009 OHO Group Award) were beside of being included in the video catalogue awarded also with the series of the group exhibitions in galleries of the region (Monfalcone, Gradišče ob Soči/Gradisca d'Isonzo, Trieste, Reka), what is the main aim of the project promoting promising artists in all countries involved in the So Fresh. In Slovenia was the project exhibited also in the Nova Gorica City Gallery. The edition of 2009 was financially supported by Fondacija/Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Gorizia.
Exhibitions prepared in the Meduza Gallery are sometimes combined with other branches of Coastal galleries or extended in the public space like it was in 2009 with the exhibition of Slovene sculpturer Jakov Brdar (known as author of many public monuments and sculptures in different Slovene towns) that was extended on the Titov trg.
The commercial brunch of the Meduza Gallery offers various art works with the focus on the contemporary Slovene artists creating in different formats (paintings, drawings, graphics, sculptures) as well the contemporary Slovene design.
