Demiurg Film Distribution is a Slovene film and video distribution company that distributes mostly individual art film productions. It is also a partner distributor of European films through the Europa Cinemas network.

Background

Demiurg film distributor emerged from the Fun production company, which produced the DVD In the Family Garden 1-5 featuring the experimental Travelling Cinema of Bridko Bebič, a silent movie/live music project-in-progress by Bratko Bibič and co-produced with the Slovenian Cinematheque from 1999 onwards.

Distribution

The Demiurg company up till now published around 60 DVDs, mostly in the genre of European Art Film, Documentary, Classics, and Film Hits. The company is one of the major distributors for Art Cinema Network, the published films on DVDs are regularly sold together with the Mladina Magazine.
