The Summer School is visited by students and professors from University of Trieste, University of Ljubljana, University of Primorska, University of Udine, and University of Klagenfurt. The School takes place in Bovec, in the last two weeks in August. Its programme consists of lectures, presentations, language courses (Slovenian, Italian, German, Croatian, and Furlan), field trips, excursions and visits to museums, also the famous Kobarid Museum.
Each year the school board chooses a certain main topic. In the previous years, this was Kruh in vino ('Bread and Wine'), in 2010 the topic was Social Diversity in the Region: Cultural, Linguistic, Social and Economic Aspects.
Culture.si offers information on Slovene cultural producers, venues, festivals and support services, all in one place. It encourages international cultural exchange in the fields of arts, culture and heritage.
