Production
Ana Monró Theatre production includes over 50 theatre and musical performances that were presented both indoors and on the street and are based on the reinterpretation of genres, original ideas, collective work, involvement of the audience, improvisation, and gags. Recognised for its satirical approach, caustic humour, and a wide range of references (from the absurd of Samuel Beckett to the iconography of Alan Ford), the group’s productions include ‘’The Wedding’’ [Poroka], in which the actors are during the course of the performance gradually replaced by the members of the audience, an ironic and minimalist burlesque without text Emergency Room, the surrealist play The Cage, inspired by Orwell’s 1984 and The Animal Farm and directed by Craig Weston, and the performance The Golden Ass, also directed by Craig Weston and based on the only Latin novel to survive in its entirety Metamorphoses.

Street theatre training
In autumn 2007, Ana Monró Theatre launched a course in street theatre ŠUGLA to stimulate the development of the Slovene street theatre scene and its production. Held once a week during a two-year period, the programme provides education and training in different fields (acrobatics, fire eating/breathing, theatre improvisation, movement, acting, costume design, etc.), taught by renowned tutors in 12 different modules.
Within the frame of Ana Desetnica International Street Theatre Festival, the programme MašinA is organised, which gives opportunity to young street theatre artists to present their work at the festival.
Ana Desetnica Festival
Since 1998, Ana Monró Theatre organises an annual Ana Desetnica International Street Theatre Festival.
