− | The [[ | + | The [[Veter Mixed Youth Choir|Veter ("Wind") Mixed Youth Choir]] was established in [[established::1989]] by [[Ljubljana Musical Youth]] with a membership of some of the outstanding singing pupils from Ljubljana. Nowadays the choir is an independent association and one of the best youth choirs in Slovenia. It has been awarded the highest prizes at the [[International Youth Choir Festival]] in Celje (1995, 1997), at the International Youth Music Festival in Neerpelt (1996 and 1998 first prize) at the International Choir Competition Mendelssohn-Bartholdy at Pohlheim (gold prize), and at festivals in Cork (2000), Budapest (2001), Lindenhozhause and Preveza, Greece (2002), Arnhem, Netherlands (2004). It performs with the [[RTV Slovenia Symphony Orchestra]] and the [[RTV Slovenia Big Band]], and appears as a regular guest in the concert series of [[Ljubljana Musical Youth]], which has published its songs on the audio CD ''Mikrokozmos''.
