Each year from 6 to 12 participants under 35 are selected and paired randomly in order to work collaboratively on a prescribed theme during the 10-days residency in July. Selection and prize
The open call is usually issued in March with the deadline in April. Artists of all nationalities working within the "traditional" visual arts disciplines (painting, fine print, drawing, sculpture) are eligible to apply.
At the final exhibition the visitors vote for the artwork of their choice and co-decide which two artists will be awarded a stimulating prize: a one-person exhibition in the Lendava Castle gallery space.
