Short films and documentaries
Short films produced in the 1990s included the short fiction films Lojze woke up as usual [Lojze se je zbudil, kot ponavadi] by Brane Bitenc (1995), Adrian (1998), directed by Maja Weiss, Stringdancer [Vrvohodec] by Hanna A. W. Slak (1999), and animated film Crossroads [Križišče], directed by Franci Slak and Miloš Radosavljević in 2000.
Bindweed Soundvision also produced the documentaries Birth of a Nation (1992) [Rojstvo naroda], Spirit Of The Great Lakes (1996) [Duh velikih jezer], all directed by Franci Slak; The Flute (2001) [Piščalka], directed by Naško Križnar, and Tito (2001), directed by Janja Glogovac.
International festivals
Bindweed Soundvision films have been presented at numerous film festivals worldwide and have won awards at Valencia and Cairo (Outsider), Cologne (When I Close My Eyes), and Chicago, Creteil and Sarajevo (Adrian).
The films When I Close My Eyes and Outsider were the Slovene candidates for the foreign film Oscar in 1994 and 1997. Blind Spot, the first feature-film by Hanna A. W. Slak, was premiered at the 13th Ljubljana International Film Festival (LIFFe) and presented at festivals in Cottbus, Thessaloniki, Moscow, Sofia, Edinburgh and Bordeaux, it also won the Best Actress Award at Thessaloniki Film Festival and the Best Director Award at the International Film Festival in Sofia.
