Primorska srečanja, a magazine for social sciences and culture, was launched in 1977 following the merger of the two magazines Srečanja and Obala. Initially published by the Society of Sociologists and Politologists of North Primorska Municipalities, it is currently run by Primorska srečanja Cultural Society. Today it is primarily a literary magazine with several texts on the cultural situation in the Primorska region, also publishing poetry of the young, forthcoming generation of literats.
