The Society's work has been rooted from the outset in a strong humanistic, political and social foundation, attempting by means of cultural exchanges and international co-productions to maintain connections with other parts of the former Yugoslavia and South-Eastern Europe. Connections and joint venture projects with prominent festivals in these regions still represent a specific feature of Ex Ponto today.
