Founded byŠKUC Association

Formerly part of the ŠKUC Association, Buba is now an independent agency engaged in concert booking and record promotion. Geographically speaking, main location of its activities take place in Slovenia, Croatia and Austria - clubs, youth centres, alternative venues and more commercial theatres. Buba covers quite a variety of music genres, non-genre types and styles as art-, avant-, progressive-, jazz rock, crossover, avant pop, experimental, alternative, hip hop and their more or less close similarities.

Among several important bands and individuals that Buba brought to Slovenia and its neighbourhood within last five years of intense promoting activity one finds: Dälek, Mouse on Mars, DJ Rupture, NoMeansNo, Trevor Dunn's Trio-Convulsant, Mono, Girls against Boys, Dog Eat Dog, Fantômas, Sleepytime Gorilla Museum, The Melvins, Cherry Poppin' Daddies, Isis, Animal Collective, Mudhoney, Lydia Lunch's Big Sexy Noise, Nick Olivery, Tindersticks, etc.
