Programme
The study of Media and Journalism is a multidisciplinary endeavour, covering theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Students thus address both general and particular facets of media production, such as legal issues, information society, modern technology, etc.
The MA in Media and Journalism facilitates in-depth and individual research of the social processes relating to media production and global challenges in the journalism of today.
Work and study in audio and video rooms afford a valuable insight into the practical aspects of media production. Prior to this, practical training for future media professionals was available only at RTV Slovenia.
International cooperation
The Faculty of Media regularly organises lectures delivered by Slovene and foreign experts, such as professor Luca Brusati, sociologist Thomas Luckmann, and photographer Jean-Christophe Couet.
