Eight Slovene designers (from OLoOP Design, Bevk Perović Arhitekti, AKSL Arhitekti, AlmiraSadar, BelaBela, Pleksimanija, Studio Drevo and Janez Suhadolc) presented at Common Roots - Design map of Central Europe exhibition, and Cvetka Požar from Museum of Architecture and Design, Ljubljana, as workshops and seminars participant, supported by the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia Tel Aviv
Projects
A number of the studio's major projects are located in Ljubljana: Mali hair stylist shop (2001), Cubo Restaurant (2003), Valvas'or Restaurant (2008), Modrijan Bookshop (2009), cafe 13 (2013), Robba Restaurant (2015), and the Dobrnik Chocolate Boutique (2017), to name a few. Other noteworthy projects include the Sailing Point nautical shop in Portorož (2004), Rožmarin Wine Bar and Cafeteria in Maribor (2006), "Sončna hiša" Design Boutique Hotel in Banovci (2007) and the Evergreen Restaurant at Golf Smedelnik (2010). The studio has also carried out a number of residential interior design projects, including renovations of single family houses, apartments, and lofts.
Awards
ASKL Arhitekti received the Interior of the year at Month of Design in 2016 for their work on the Robba Restaurant, with other restaurant projects having been previously nominated for the award. In 2010 the studio was short-listed for the Contractworld Award for the Valvas'or Restaurant project, and their work on the Rožmarin Restaurant, Wine Bar and Cafeteria in Maribor was nominated for the Plečnik Medal 2008.
