Located next to the Magistrat Gallery, Kresija Gallery is situated in one of the atria on the ground floor of a historic building in the centre of Ljubljana. Owned by Ljubljana Municipality, the atrium was turned into a gallery in 2000. The gallery is also available for rent.


On the beginning of its existence the programme of the Gallery focused mostly on architecture and design exhibitions, soon the Kresija Gallery started to present also visual art works of Slovene authors. Solo or group exhibitions are mainly municipality projects or projects resulting cooperations between the town Ljubljana and other towns and countries.
