Presentation
Works of the Nova Ljubljanska banka (NLB) Art Collection primary adorn ambiances of the NLB headquarters in Ljubljana and other branch offices around Slovenia. Between 2000 and 2004 the Collection was publicly presented on 10 curated exhibitions that took place in the Avla NLB Gallery, Ljubljana. Each of those presentations represented the works acquired in chosen calendar year(s). Some exhibitions were focused on the selected phenomenon like the 10th presentation that featured the selection of sculpture acquisitions of NLB like works of Lojze Dolinar and Zdenko Kalin representing older generation or Mirsad Begić, Matjaž Počivavšek, Mojca Smerdu, Lujo Vodopivec, Boris Zaplatil and others representing established Slovene still acting authors. These exhibitions were presented in other Slovene Galleries, e.g. Maribor Art Gallery.
Artists
Almost all visible Slovene artists are part of the Collection; including the early works of nowadays established artists of the youngest generation as Miha Štrukelj, Sašo Vrabič, and Žiga Kariž. A catalogue in pdf format and a presentation of the artists and their work is available on the NLB website.
