Programme
In summer 2010 the gallery features the multilayered visual and sound project entitled 299 Hairy Ones and Call a Spade a Spade of Arjan Pregl, the representative of the young Slovene artists. The exhibition was prepared in the cooperation with the City Art Museum Ljubljana.
National and international co-operations are often the strategy of the space and its programme a it was as well with the exhibition entitled Continuity of the Modernism, Fragments of Croatian Architecture from Modernity to 2010, where 85 works by Croatian architects from the 30ties to today were exhibited under the collaboration between the Maribor Art Gallery and Oris Magazine and the Association Oris-House of Architecture and Architects.
In autumn 2010 the cooperation between the Maribor Art Gallery and Aksioma Institute results by the Italian curator Domenico Quaranta curated group show entitled RE:akt! Reconstruction, Re−enactment, Re−reporting featuring further artists: Lucas Bambozzi, Vaginal Davis, IOCOSE Group, Janez Janša, Janez Janša, Janez Janša, Eva and Franco Mattes (aka 0100101110101101.ORG), SilentCell Network (Mare Bulc, Janez Janša, Bojana Kunst, Igor Štromajer).
