Babalan.org, aka [[GVR]], is an institute for contemporary multimedia, visual and performing art established by Vlado Repnik. Selected projects include Helios, 1988 (together with Bojan Jablanovec and Aljoša Kolenc); Brigades of Beauty, 1990 (Evrokaz Festival, Zagreb); Walter Wolf, 1993; Gertrude Stein, 1994 (Pula Festival, Prague Quadriennal 1995); Lighty Tiny Bird on Tiny Branch, 1996; Apolonija (Grenze am Fluss, Bad Radkesburg, Austria) 1998; I tempi passati, 1999; To Bee or Not to Bee, 2000; Human Rights, 2001 (Cassandra - staged in Madrid, Lisabon, Rome); Gfest, 2002; Back Unit, a fairy tale 2002-2004; The Minotaure Song, 2004; net project, 2004; and the intermedia project Mary, Piss on Takashi Please! in collaboration with Klančnik and Štromajer of Intima Virtual Base, staged in March 2005 at Museum of Modern Art Ljubljana. In 2006 the Theatre Protocol installation was exhibited in the Kapelica Gallery in Ljubljana and the All about Lessoto project presented at KIBLA Multimedia Centre in Maribor.
