The NGO Strup Productions was founded in 1998 by a team of four young creators from the film and design sectors. It engages in creative services, dealing with environmental graphics, image development, interactive media, multimedia, photography and web design, and co-operates with groundbreaking musicians, filmmakers, dance companies, cultural and other institutions in designing videos, presentation materials and websites.

In 2004 Strup Productions produced Dražen Štader's documentary 'Rudi Omota: a Skipped Chapter of Slovene Cinematography', which received an award at the Festival of Slovene Film in Portorož, and in 2006 it produced Nejc Saje's animation Dvorišče ('Courtyard'), which received an award for best animation at the Festival of Slovene Film in Portorož.
