Eye on Film Festival
Film programme
The presented films are of a very divers nature, going from archive pieces like Fellini's Amarcord (intended for the age group of 15 – 18 years) to contemporary feature and animated films, different shorter pieces and also some works made by students from Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film and Television (AGRFT).
In the first edition of the festival, for example, the bigger part of the programme was of a European productions and only a small number of films – equalled by those from Asia and from South America – came from the United States. There were some more than 50 films, and about a half of these were short ones, culled from the programmes of Anthropological Film Festival of Children and Youth in Ljubljana, KIKI festival, International Children’s Film Festival (HR) and Animateka International Animated Film Festival.
The best film in the competitive section is chosen by the part of the audience aged between 6 and 12 years. The winner in 2015, for example, was the Italian-Grench co-production Il ragazzo invisibile by Gabriele Salvatores.
