Borghesia is a legendary electronic body music (EBM) band, formed in Ljubljana in 1982. The band consisted of the members of the alternative theatre group Theatre FV-112/15. Its aesthetics - lyrics, visual performance, video production - was using the imagery of surveillance, prohibited, tabooed and repressed. Borghesia were along Laibach the most eminent representatives of Slovene alternative scene of the 80s.
The band went on several European tours in 1988-1991. They released four albums on well-known international indie label Play It Again Sam.
Its member, music producer, activist and DJ Aldo Ivančič later formed the music collective Bast.
