Opening Horizons - 20th Century art between Italy and Slovenia exhibition, prepared in cooperation with Cankarjev dom Gallery
Programme and exhibitions
As a mid-scale gallery of 364 square metres it hosts various exhibition programme of visual arts (painting, sculpture and architecture) through new media to complex themed group exhibitions covering also general fields of culture. Its programme often corresponds to the events and festivals of the main Cankarjev dom programme like the Italian Egyptologist Francesco Tiradritti's curated exhibition Pharaonic Renaissance in spring 2008. As the central event of the Festival of Egyptian Culture it was accompanied by various programme as screenings of Egyptian film 1947–2006 for example.
In recent years the programme has been frequently focused on national overviews. In 2010 it presented the Armenia Close Up Festival and the CD Gallery featured the cultural and historic exhibition Armenian Tradition Between the Secular and the Sacred displaying artifacts of Armenian church art from 12th to 19th c
