Launched in 1999 by the Slovene Association of Antique and Humanistic Studies and published twice each year, this journal focuses on humanistic studies for classical philologists, historians, philosophers, archaeologists, lawyers, medievalists, Slav and Roman language experts and pedagogues. The magazine is divided into four sections: the first part of the magazine presents scientific researches and studies related to Greek and Roman antiquity, the Middle Ages and Humanism, Slovene classical philology, ancient philosophy, medieval philosophy, legal philosophy and the history of art; the second part is aimed at educators and presents new teaching methods and curricular developments; the third part is dedicated to translations of shorter original classical texts and some studies which have not yet been translated into Slovene; and the fourth section ('Miscellanea') informs readers about the Association’s activities and makes announcements.
