Meduza Gallery, Koper
The Meduza gallery in Koper prepares approximately 7 exhibitions annual, mostly of Slovene established and young promising artists. They co-operate with foreign and regional institutions like in 2009 with the Università Popolare di Trieste, the PUF festival, local puppet theater studio Lutkarnica, P.A.R.A.S.I.T.E. Institute that featured its collection of artist books and on the opening presented the collection entitled 12 Boring Poems of Dejan Habicht. Exhibitions are sometimes combined with other branches of Coastal galleries or extended in the public space like it was in 2009 with the exhibition of Slovene sculpturer Jakov Brdar (known as author of many public monuments and sculptures in different Slovene towns) that was extended on the Titov trg.
The commercial brunch of the Meduza Gallery offers various art works with the focus on the contemporary Slovene artistst creating in different formats (paintings, drawings, graphics, sculptures) as well the contemoporary Slovene design.
