The Student Legal Information Centre in Maribor has closely co-operated with the Legal Information Centre for NGOs (LIC) in Ljubljana. Initially run by University of Maribor's Student Organisation, it is currently registered as non-governmental organisation Zavod Pravo informacije pomoč (PIP) with branch offices in Murska Sobota and Ptuj. It offers legal advice and information related to student status, studies abroad, social benefits etc.
