Proteus is a French-Slovene partnership project organised within the framework of Partenariat Hubert Curien (PHC) and funded by the Ministry of Higher Education and Technology of France and the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology and Slovene Science Foundation of Slovenia. The aim of the project is an exchange in the field of science and technology between research laboratories of the two countries, facilitating new co-operation. The programme supports all fields of science, including the humanities and social sciences. The call for applications is usually made in May, for two-year projects.
Candidates may also apply for funding for co-operative scientific projects run by laboratories in other EU countries where PHC support schemes are available.
