HUD "O" was established in 2013 as non-profit society which aims to provide and create conditions for humanistic (in the broadest sense of the word) expressions of man through humanism and art. Humanistično in Umetniško Društvo "O" organises concert series and festival called Rojišče which focuses on a diverse spectrum of free improvised and experimental music.

Since its establishment in 2013 HUD "O" has been organising a concert series called Rojišče with the first event in this long running concert series taking place in Ivan Cankar Institute Vrhnika with the concert of Balžalorsky/Drašler trio (Vitja Balžalorsky, Jošt Drašler and Vid Drašler). From its beginnings to 2020 over 70 events have been organised featuring many prominent musicians from the Slovene and foreign improv, rock and jazz scenes such as Zatko Kaučič,Kaja Draksler,Samo Kutin, Tomaž Grom, Dre Hočevar and others.
