Anthropos journal stimulates co-operation between the humanities and social sciences in the fields of psychology and philosophy. It is aimed at interdisciplinary and transdiciplinary work and work beyond traditional frames of disciplines.
The Slovene Psychologists' Association and the Slovene Philosophical Society have published four to six issues a year since 1969. Subject areas include anthropology, psychology, philosophy, social sciences, and the humanities. The journal is published in Slovenian with contents and abstracts in English.
The current managing editor is Janez Musek, Ph.D. and a professor at the Department of Psychology at the Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana. The journal has an international advisory board, composed of experts from the USA, France, Austria, the Czech Republic, and Russia. Currently, the 2004–2008 issues are available on-line.
