Each year the festival attracts more tourists as the programme includes performances by musicians, dancers, swordsmen, actors and other artists from Croatia, Serbia, Czech Republic, Italy, Spain and Slovenia. The Festival focuses on bringing it's audience an experience of Medieval and Renaissance culture and art with a myriad of events which include music concerts, theatre plays, workshops and puppet shows for children.
Music
The Festival of Medieval and Renaissance Music features virtuoso performances by chamber music ensembles such as Tasto Solo (Spain), Gallus Consort (Italy) and Musica Cubicularis (Slovenia). The musicians play on early instruments and focus on rendering a historically informed performance.
