In 2010 the Delavnica Association established the Delavnica Institute based in Maribor, European Capital of Culture 2012 in order to develop the Maribor International Orchestra 2012. The orchestra has been evolving on the summer Academies and Master Classes for the young emerging musicians and conductors.
