Indoors view of the Cukrarna Gallery

In September 2021, Cukrarna Gallery made its debut in the Slovenian capital, introducing a new space that not only showcases contemporary art but also fosters the exploration of ideas and the creation of diverse art projects. It functions as a platform for various art forms such as visual arts, intermedia, performance, sound, and music, cultivating a dynamic cultural hub that nurtures creativity. While exhibitions and events are integral to the gallery's programming, its fundamental objective is to establish itself as an authentic contemporary art institution. The gallery's vision is rooted in pro-social and humanistic principles, emphasizing respect for others, environmental responsibility, and incisive social criticism. By continuously reflecting societal realities, Cukrarna Gallery strives to forge meaningful connections with artists and stakeholders, both locally and internationally, fostering long-term engagement and interaction, all while paying homage to the building's illustrious history (cf.
