Department of History Library, University of Ljubljana
Collection
Along with the general items for historical research, the library's collection also focuses on the history of neighbouring countries, especially in the context of Austria and Italy. The library's collection also consists of donations and exchanges with other libraries. The library holds the private collections of professors Jadran Ferluga, Gregor Čremošnik, Fran Zwitter, Ignacij Voje, and Franček Saje. The copies of the archive from Graz on the peasant resistance in Tolmin are a significant part of the collection.
The library also takes care of the holdings of the Historical Association of Slovenia. Their newspaper Kronika is available online at the Digital Library of Slovenia. As a part of the library's scientific collection the scientific series Historia, published by the Department of History, is available at the library; the table of contents and a preview of selected articles of old numbers of Historia can also be viewed online.
The Department of History Library regularly informs its users about newly purchased publications at the website of the Department of History, University of Ljubljana.
