Krafft Festival is a film festival dedicated to the art of acting in audiovisual creation which was founded in Kranj and was held there from 2021 to 2025. In 2026, Krafft moved to Ljubljana. The festival celebrates outstanding screen performances, presenting a carefully curated global selection of films chosen by an international jury and distinguished by exceptional acting achievements. In addition to film screenings, Krafft offers a vibrant professional platform, welcoming internationally acclaimed actors, actresses, and leading industry professionals to participate in roundtable discussions, lectures, masterclasses, and workshops. The festival’s awards – the Golden Apple Grand Prix, the Golden Apple for Special Acting Achievement, and the Honorary Golden Apple – recognise remarkable artistic contributions to screen acting.
Krafft Festival is produced by the Krafft Film Society in partnership with the Screen Actors Guild of Slovenia. It is supported by the Slovenian Film Centre.
