It received the Golden Plaque at the Naša pesem Choir Competition in 1997, 1999 and 2001, First Prize at Spittal Festival in 1997, a Grand Prix at Toloza in Spain and a major prize at the International Competition at Powell River in Canada. At the 10th International Choir Festival Tallinn 2007, Estonia, the choir won second prize in chamber choir category, third prize in contemporary music category and several special awards. Besides participating in competitions, the De Profundis Chamber Choir has performed many concerts in Slovenia and in Germany, Spain, Italy, Croatia, and Slovakia.
