Programme
Music lessons are implemented in the main location and also in two separate locations – in Štore and Vojnik. More than 600 young musicians are attending various lessons. The school's goal is to follow student interests and guide them to orchestral instruments. Elementary education is divided into several stages: preschool musical education (5-year-olds), music trainee (6-year-olds), and the usual lessons (from 7 years old). All instrumental lessons are individual, theory and chamber lessons are in groups. Secondary music education – an artistic high school programme is a four-year continuing programme.
Students of Celje Music School regularly attend national and international competitions and mostly win the first prizes and a high number of points.
