Established in November 1996, the [[Bošnjak Cultural Union of Slovenia]] unites Bošnjak clubs and associations and facilitates cultural programmes for Bošnjaks (Muslims coming mainly from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Sandžak region) living in Slovenia. The Union seeks to facilitate communication with the Slovene government and media.
