The union tackles common issues such as the collective management of copyrights or combating the weakening of the associations established in the socialist times. To strengthen its voice it is also a member of the Association of Associations of Slovenia established in 2003. Since March 2017 it publishes the Primus online magazine that covers the vivid activities of Union's members.
