The society's objective is to work on the conceptual development of psychoanalytical theory in relation to philosophy and to publish original texts as well as translation in this area. Its engagement in contemporary critical theory, ethics, structuralism, and philosophy is closely related to the Slovene Lacanian School. One of the texts which has been translated into English and German includes ''Everything you Always Wanted to Know about Lacan'' (edited by [[Slavoj Žižek]] and published in 1994 by Verso, London).
