A coproduction workshop organised by the Slovenian Film Centre in collaboration with French Institute in Slovenia and Centre national du cinéma et de l'image animée, with the two projects presented: "Horses - Konji" directed by Jernej Kastelec and produced by Bela Film, Ida Weiss, and "The Happiest Day - Najsrečnejši dan" directed by Sonja Prosenc and produced by Monoo, Rok Sečen. The creators will be present at the workshop.

This years's Eho Mountain Festival will start with the screening of the Slovenian film "Maverick From the Edge - Viharnik z roba, 100 let Skalašev". Director, screenwriter and producer Igor Vrtačnik will give a short introductory presentation before the film and will be available for a discussion after the projection. The event is supported by Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in Skopje.

"Greek Apricots - Grške marelice" by Jan Krevatin has been included in the competitive programme. Short film panorama will include the animated film "Catlands - Maček med vrati" by Ana Čigon and Slovenian minority coproduction "The Man Who Could Not Remain Silent" by director Nebojša Slijepčević, coproduced by Slovenian Studio Virc. Both short films were made with financial support of the Slovenian Film Centre.

The VII. Days of Slovenian Film will be opened by "Family Therapy/Redemption for Beginners - Odrešitev za začetnike". The director of Oscar-nominated film, Sonja Prosenc, will be present, along with director of photography Mitja Ličen. The other two projections are award-winning "Observing - Opazovanje" by Janez Burger and documentary "Body - Telo" by Petra Seliškar. The event is organised by Slovenian Film Centre, Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia Budapest, and BudapestFilm Zrt.

Three films will be presented in the scope of 7th Days of Slovenian Film: "Wake Me - Zbudi me" by Marko Šantić, "Riders - Jezeca" by Dominik Mencej, and "Orchestra - Orkester" by Matevž Luzar. Also present will be the director and actor Jurij Drevenšek, who starrs in "Wake Me". All the films were made with the support of Slovenian Film Centre.

The 30th edition of the Sarajevo Film Festival features 12 films with Slovenian participation, either in production, acting or music. Among those are 6 feature films, 3 documentaries and 3 short films. All of the films are supported by the Slovenian Film Centre.

Slovenia will be present at the festival with a projection of Slovenian-Czech-Croatian-Serbian coproduction "Block 5 - Igrišča ne damo". The children's film is wrdirected by Klemen Dvornik, and features Kaja Zabret, Kaja Šuštar, Marko Mandič, Gregor Zorc in main roles. The film has been made with support from Slovenian Film Centre and European Comission Eurimages programme, and includes a multimedia campaign by creative studio Trampolin, #GibanjeZaMlade (#MovementForYouth), promoting the importance of moving and socialising for young people.

Several Slovenian films will be included in the programme. "Shooting Blanks - Poslednji heroj" by Žiga Virc and Iza Strehar is a Slovenian-Greek-Croatian-Italian coproduction. In the category of student film, two Slovenian productions will be included: "Juvies - Domčani" by Jure Štern and "Last Day of Spring - Zadnji dan pomladi" by Jan Krevatin. Slovenia will also be represented in two coproductions: Montenegro's "Forever Hold Your Peace" alongside Serbia, Czech Republic, Croatia and North Macedonia; and "The Man Who Could Not Remain Silent", coproduced by Croatia, France, Bulgaria and Slovenia, with Boštjan Virc of Studio Virc.

"Family Therapy - Odrešitev za začetnike" by director Sonja Prosenc is an international coproduction, supported by Slovenian Film Centre, Viba Film Studio, Italian Ministry of Culture and Friuli-Venezia Giulia Film Comission, and Creative Europe programme. Collaborating on the project were also Norway, Croatia, and Serbia.
The film has been chosen as one among ten winners of International Narrative Competition of the Tribeca festival and will be shown for the first time at the festival, followed by multiple projections on Broadway.

This year's short film competition selection will be featuring Slovene minority production, "The Man Who Could Not Remain Silent - Mož, ki ni mogel molčati" by director Nebojša Slijepčević, coproduced by Les Films Norfolk, Contrast Films and Boštjan Virc of Studio Virc.
Slovenian Film Centre will be presenting itself in the scope of SEE Pavilion, as well as presenting two new Slovenian productions: "Family Therapy - Odrešitev za začetnike" by Sonja Prosenc and "Cent'anni" by Maja Doroteja Prelog.
All three films presented in Cannes have been made with the support of Slovenian Film Centre.

The 10th Days of Slovenian Film in Belgrade will present a number of contemporary Slovenian films and classics. Several directors and actors will also be in attendance. This year's Days will open with two photography exhibits: one documenting the previous Days and the other showcasing the work of photographer Irena Herak, who documented the Days in 2016. A notable event is also the meeting of students of Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film and Television (AGRFT) in Ljubljana and students of Belgrade's Faculty of Dramatic Arts.
The event is supported by Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia Belgrade and organised by Slovenian Film Centre, Slovene Society Slava Beograd, Faculty of Philology Belgrade and Yugoslav Film Archive.

Documentaries "Cinema Volta - Kino Volta" by Martin Turk and "Cent'anni - Sto let" by Maja Doroteja Prelog; short films "How I Learned to Hand Laundry - Kako sem se naučila obešati perilo" by Barbara Zemljič and short animated movie "Octopus Banana Hotchpotch - Hobotnica banana mišmaš" by Milanka Fabjančič. The films were made with support by Slovenian Film Centre. Also included in the programme is the coproduction "Guardians of The Formula - Čuvari fomule" by Dragan Bjelogrlić, and the German-Serbian "Truth - Istina (Resnica)" with Slovene actress Nika Rozman in the main role.
