Origin of the name Operela
Operela is the protagonist in a children's tale created by Slovene writer Desa Muck. In the book A Miracle in the Opera House, the mouse Operela helps with the details in the staging of an opera without ever being noticed. The story aims at igniting interest and bringing understanding about the world of the opera to children.
