International co-operation

Since 1998, the third programme of Radio Slovenia broadcasts night show the European Classical Nocturne. The radio show devoted to classical music was launched by the members of the Euroradio network, including Great Britain, Ireland, Norway, Denmark, Netherlands and Slovenia. The show is aired on a daily basis for the whole night via the BBC studios in London.

Radio ARS, as one of the members of the festival, regularly participates with its radio plays and other radio production at the annual world event Prix Italia, an international competition for radio, television and web, from Torino.

EBU Art’s Birthday Party

Radio ARS is a part of the European radio network which celebrates the EBU Art’s Birthday Party - Euroradio Ars Acustica Special Evening, devoted to celebrate the memory of Robert Filliou, who declared, on 17th of January in 1963, that Art had been born exactly 1,000,000 years ago when someone dropped a dry sponge into a pail of water. On this occasion, in 2011 the Radio ARS broadcast included a twenty-minute show of improvised radio happening entitled »di-ba baab, di-ja beu© --- fantazija za kvazi flavto« (by Bor Turel and Gregor Pirš) and devoted to men living in the Stone Age.
