The Slovenian Film Centre presents Idyll, directed by Tomaž Gorkič (Blade Production), and Šiška Deluxe, directed by Jan Cvitkovič (Perfo Production), at the Film Market
at the Cannes International Film Festival
Under the wing of Blade Production also operates the Production House 666, which has been the production vehicle for Tomaž Gorkič since 2005. In the last decade or so, Tomaž has been the sole Slovene film author that is extensively working in the fields of the horror and gore genre. Up until the year 2014, his primary output were either short films or music videos, but this has changed with the production of the feature-length movie titled Idila [Idyll]. The movie falls under the category of the horror genre, which is a xy with little precedence in the history of Slovene filmography.

While Idyll was chosen by the Slovenian Film Centre to be screened at Cannes Film festival 2015, some earlier films by Tomaž have also been featured at various other festivals. His short film Veriga mesa [Chain of meat] has been screened and awarded both at the Festival of Slovenian Independent Film and at the Trash Film Festival in Varaždin (where he had been give, fittingly, the Golden Chainsaw award). He has also been awarded at Grossmann Fantastic Film and Wine Festival, where his films are regularly screened.
