Background
Rodna gruda: revija za Slovence po svetu ('Domestic Soil: Magazine for Slovenes round the World') was originally a publication launched as early as 1954 by the Slovene Emigrant Association. In 2004 the magazine was relaunched with a new look as 'Slovenia.World' (subtitled Independent Magazine for Slovenes Abroad). It was published in Slovene with an English, German, Spanish and French section. In 2006 the publication was renamed to Moja Slovenija Magazine [My Slovenia Magazine], and got another publisher that runs another web portal, Slovenci.si.
The Slovene Emigrant Association has continued with the "E-Rodna gruda", a kind of a web magazine. The members of editorial board are Peter Kovačič Peršin, Mihael Glavan, Joze Osterman and Janez Rogelj.
