[[m3c Multimedia Centres Network of Slovenia]] is rooted in a non-formal network, originally called the 'Cultural Information Backbone', which was formed in the second half of the 1990s. M3C Multimedia Centres Network of Slovenia gathers existing and emerging intermedia initiatives in all Slovene regions and encourages international co-operation. Its members are mostly multimedia centres that encourage free access to and creative use of new technology and function as venues, events & workshop (co)producers and information nexuses.
