Participants and programme
The selection of Slovene theatre productions for children and young people in the competition programme of the festival include productions by theatres, such as Mini Theatre, Ljubljana Puppet Theatre, Koper Theatre, Ptuj City Theatre, Slovene People’s Theatre (SLG) Celje, Prešeren Theatre Kranj, the Slovene Permanent Theatre of Trieste, and ŠKUC Association.
The festival has hosted numerous international theatres, such as Showtheater Holbæk from Denmark, La Baracca Theatre – Testoni Ragazzi from Bologna (IT), Thalias Kompagnons Theater from Nuernberg (DE), and Mala scena Zagreb (HR), City Theatre for the Young GKM Split (HR), Teatret Lampe from Copenhagen (DK), Det Lille Verdens Teater from Virum (DK), Little Theatre Duško Radović from Belgrade (RS), etc.
The festival has also hosted some lecturers: Hasan Erkek from Turkey, Wolfgang Schneider from Germany, Henriette Kudsk from Denmark, and Roberto Frabetti lecturing on the European project Small Size - Theatre for Children From 0 to 6 Years. The 2009 edition featured also readings by Slovene authors of children's literature, which was coorganised by Slovene Writers’ Association.
