Publishing
The society has published the psychoanalytical and cultural studies journal Problemi since 1962. In 1985 it launched the Analecta book series which now comprises more than 60 publications. These are translations of theories (Spinoza, Hume, Hegel, Kant, Derrida, Lyotard, Badiou, Lacan, Foucault, Freud, etc.) with thorough commentaries as well as texts by the leading Slovene theoreticians in the field. Most of its publications are available via the online bookshop on the society's website.
International cooperation
The members of the Society for Theoretical Psychoanalysis established Agalma Institute, which organises lectures by the society members and guests. Since 2005 Agalma has hosted lectures by Giorgio Agamben, Aaron Schuster, Gérard Wajcman, Mladen Dolar, Alenka Zupančič and Slavoj Žižek. Members of the society are regular guests of eminent universities in Europe (Jan van Eyck Academie, Maastricht) and America, several of their books have been translated into foreign languages.
