Ballettikka Internettikka is on ongoing internet guerilla performance study developed in collaboration with B Zorman. It comprised 'net.ballet' on the Internet, 2001, 'ballet.net' in Moscow, 2002, 'M-III robot net ballet' in Ljubljana and Bergen 2003 and Milan 2004, presentations in Belgrade and Berlin and the 2007 'Sttattika' staged in Hong Kong and Bremen. Another project is Oppera Internettikka, a series of low-tech internet opera art projects begun in 1998. It explores the combination of classical opera tactics and strategies, together with singing HTML source code, text-to-speech software, Java scripts and applets. The project was presented in Skopje, Berlin, Ljubljana, New Delhi, Montpellier and on Internet. In 2007 Intima Virtual Base toured to Buenos Aires, Argentina, and Santiago, Chile, the Sputtnikk Oppera was presented in Skopje, Macedonia, and the live Internet performance 7012: Die Die Die Beauty project was performed in Montpellier, France.

Between 2001 and 2010 exact 18 subprojects comprises this series: starting with the 'net.ballet' (2001), 'ballet.net' in Moscow (2002), 'M-III robot net ballet' and continuing since 2007 with those entitled Aeronauttikka, Stattikka, Olymppikka, Intermenttikka Hydraullikka, Norddikka to name just some of them. Štromajers projects are presented  all around the world including in Hong Kong, Berlin, Beograd, Seul, or Madrid to name just some of them. In the end of Mai 2010 the new project of the serie the Insecttikka is performe live from Hamburg and live broadcasted per internet to The Netherlands Media Art Institute in Amsterdam, where  the Ballettikka Internettikka Insecttikka is a part of the Performmikka Internettikka event, curated by Petra Heck.

About

Igor Štromajer, who graduated at the Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film and Television (AGRFT), tackles in his intermedia projects tactical emotional states and traumatic low-tech emotional strategies. He has shown his work at more than 100 exhibitions and festivals in 50 countries and received a number of international awards.


Beside the both biggest national instititions for contemporary arts as the Museum of Modern Art in Ljubljana or Maribor Art Gallery, his works are included in the permanent collections of the Centre Georges Pompidou (Paris), the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofia (Madrid), and the Computerfinearts Gallery (New York). As an artist-in-residence he lectured at universities and contemporary arts institutes in Europe, the USA and Canada.
