On the Kombinat concerts unsually the history of each song is being explained. Some of the concerts are dedicated to current events: on one of the occasions the choir sang for the exploited migrant workers who have worked in Slovenia. Enough money was collected to cover their trip to Bosnia to visit their former fellow-workers and families.
