The Capuchin Monastery Archives and Library, Škofja Loka, dating from the beginning of the 18th century, preserve a precious collection of rare books, manuscripts, and registry data. The most renowned is the manuscript with the Škofja Loka Passion Play.

Brežice Library

Brežice Library, 2007

Established in 1946 Brežice Library is a public library that engages in educational, entertainment, cultural and information activities for people in the Municipality of Brežice.

In addition to its central space, the Brežice Library has two movable book collections – at Pišece and at the military barracks in Cerklje ob Krki.
