The Puppetry Foundation (ULU) was established in May 2001 by puppetry artists. It is a network of 17 members comprising puppetry ensembles, puppet theatres, puppetry groups and individual puppeteers. In recent years ULU has produced several plays by its members, including Kroki and Friends by Silvan Omerzu (Konj Puppet Theatre), some performances by Katja Povše (Miss Bazilika Narrative Theatre), Martin Krpan by Uš Puppet Theatre Company and Little White Cat by Labirint Theatre.
