As successor to the Soros Center for Contemporary Arts (1993-1999) the SCCA-Ljubljana Centre for Contemporary Arts has collected a rich collection of catalogues and periodicals from the region of Central and Eastern Europe and Asia.

The collection is housed in the SCCA-Ljubljana Centre for Contemporary Arts Project Room and has been regularly updated in recent years with new publications, primarily Slovene and international periodicals, exhibition catalogues and books on theory and curatorial practice in contemporary visual and new media art. The library is open to cultural professionals and seeks to compliment the centre's research, education, information and consultancy programmes. The Library also incorporates a videotheque, which hosts SCCA-Ljubljana's Videodokument programme. The titles of the library collection are also available online.
