Launched in 1993, the Primorska Summer Festival Association is an non-for-profit cultural association. It organised the Primorska Summer Festival. Today the association is active as a local producer in the littoral region.

-At first the festival presented recent productions by Slovene repertory theatres to the audiences of the Slovene coastal towns of Koper-Capodistria and Piran-Pirano. Many theatre plays were performed in the streets and town squares. In Summer 2007 the festival was dedicated to Molière. The programme presented Molière's plays that were staged at the [[Slovene National Theatre Maribor]], [[Slovene National Theatre Nova Gorica]] and [[Koper Theatre]], at the Slovene Permanent Theatre Trieste-Trst, and the performance Molière directed by [[Barbara Novakovič Kolenc]], [[Muzeum Institute]]).
